MEET ALANA
The heart behind Pure Luminous Pathway.
I’m Alana Myers, founder of Pure Luminous Pathway Wellness Services. I created this space from a desire to bring faith and mental health into the same conversation while creating opportunities for people to better understand themselves, grow intentionally, and move forward with greater purpose.
My background in social work has shaped the way I understand people, growth, and wellness through a whole person perspective. Working with people across different stages of life has deepened my understanding of how our experiences, relationships, environments, emotional well-being, and beliefs can shape the way we see ourselves and navigate life.
MY APPROACH
Whole-person growth, grounded in faith.
I believe growth begins with understanding the whole person, not just one part of their story. The way we see ourselves and move through life can be shaped by our experiences, relationships, environments, emotional well-being, faith, choices, and responsibilities. Looking at those pieces together can create space to understand what has shaped us, what may need to change, and how we want to move forward.
My approach brings together reflection and action. I value honest conversations, meaningful questions, compassion, personal responsibility, and practical steps that help turn greater self-understanding into intentional movement forward. Growth is not about having everything figured out. It is about becoming more aware, making purposeful choices, and continuing to grow along the way.
My Christian faith is at the heart of how I understand purpose, identity, growth, and becoming, and it is foundational to Pure Luminous Pathway Wellness Services. At the same time, I believe each person’s relationship with God is deeply personal. My role is not to tell someone what God is saying or determine His direction for their life, but to create space for reflection while encouraging them to seek God, exercise wisdom, and walk out their own journey with Him.
PROFESSIONAL FOUNDATION
Professional knowledge. Human connection. Intentional application.
My professional foundation is rooted in social work, clinical experience, continued professional development, and a whole-person understanding of the many factors that shape people’s lives. Working across different ages, settings, and communities has strengthened my understanding of how emotional well-being, relationships, environments, life experiences, and individual strengths can influence the way people understand themselves and navigate the world around them. These experiences continue to shape the thoughtful, compassionate, and intentional way I approach my work and the people I serve.
Education & Professional Path
Alana holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work. She is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern and currently practices professionally in Florida while working toward clinical social work licensure.
Experience Across Settings
Alana’s experience spans the lifespan, from early childhood through later adulthood, and includes individual therapy, school-based mental health, and early-childhood settings. Her work with children has also involved collaboration with caregivers, educators, and staff, bringing together observation, emotional and behavioral support, practical planning, and communication across the environments surrounding the child. Her professional experience includes working with people from diverse backgrounds, circumstances, and life experiences.
Specialized Training
Alana’s continued professional development includes training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). These experiences continue to inform her understanding of trauma, emotional well-being, human behavior, relationships, resilience, and personal growth.
WHERE PASSION MEETS PURPOSE
Working with people across different stages of life has shown me how our experiences, environments, relationships, and beliefs can shape us over time. Through my work with children, families, schools, and adults, I have developed a particular heart for pouring into women and girls at different stages of becoming.
The teenage years are especially meaningful to me because so much is still taking shape. My heart is to reach girls beyond one-on-one spaces by creating and contributing to programs, partnerships, and community opportunities that strengthen self-understanding, confidence, emotional awareness, and a strong sense of worth during these formative years.
My heart for women includes both personal support and opportunities to reach women collectively. I want to create spaces where women can understand what has shaped them, make room for healing, reconnect with who they are, and move forward with greater intention as they continue becoming who God created them to be. Whether through individual work, education, community engagement, or collaboration, I want my work to create meaningful opportunities for women and girls to grow.
While my professional experience extends across populations and stages of life, women and girls hold a meaningful place in the work I feel called to continue developing through professional services, education, community engagement, and collaboration.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Reflection with direction. Compassion with accountability. Faith with practical application.
My role is not to hand you a predetermined version of who you should become. I create space for meaningful questions, greater self-understanding, and honest reflection while helping you identify practical ways to move forward with intention.
You can expect compassion alongside accountability. We can look beneath the surface, consider what may be influencing where you are, and identify meaningful next steps that can be applied to everyday life.
